LinkAssist is an AI-powered platform focused on helping professionals build their presence on LinkedIn, create better content, discover opportunities, and grow their professional network.

We are building an AI-driven product where traditional web application engineering meets LLMs, multi-agent systems, real-time data, and cloud infrastructure.

We are looking for a Software Developer & AI Intern who wants to work on the actual product architecture, not just small isolated tasks.

What You’ll Work On

You will work across different parts of the LinkAssist platform, including:

Building and improving the Next.js frontend and application layer
Developing backend APIs and business logic
Working with MongoDB for application and user data
Contributing to the AI engine and LLM-powered workflows
Working with AI agents, orchestration, tool calling, prompts, and structured outputs
Integrating different LLM and AI services
Building features that connect the AI engine with the product UI
Working with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
Debugging, optimizing, and improving existing systems
Designing APIs and data flows between different modules
Writing clean, maintainable, production-ready TypeScript/JavaScript
Working on real product problems from development to deployment

What We’re Looking For

Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript
Good understanding of React and/or Next.js
Basic understanding of backend development and APIs
Familiarity with databases, preferably MongoDB
Genuine interest in AI/LLMs and modern AI application development
Comfortable working with APIs and third-party services
Basic understanding of Git and GitHub
Willingness to work across different parts of a software system
Strong problem-solving ability
Ability to read existing code and understand unfamiliar systems
Ability to learn independently and ship working features

Nice to Have

Experience building projects with Next.js
Experience working with MongoDB
Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Perplexity, or other LLM APIs
Experience building AI agents or AI-powered applications
Familiarity with LangChain, Vercel AI SDK, or similar frameworks
AWS experience
Docker experience
Understanding of WebSockets or SSE
Experience with vector databases or RAG
Open-source contributions
Personal projects involving AI or full-stack development
